Our little monkey turned two yesterday! We had a fun-filled day starting with a party at the community center’s indoor playground with some of her friends from our Mama’s Group. After that, Daddy took her out just the two of them to get a Jamba Juice (a special treat around here) and she got to pick out her balloon. She decided on Minnie Mouse.

She was too excited to nap, which happens about three or four times a week anyway these days, so we rescued her from her crib and brought her downstairs to play with the new kitchen that Grandma and Grandpa sent. That’s been a big hit! “Auntie” Marie and “Uncle” Ben came over for dinner and cake and present opening. She was spoiled with a huge pile of presents and had great fun opening all of them and trying out her new bike.

It was so much fun to see her excited about her birthday. She’s been singing “Happy Anna” for the past few days. We had some leftover cake this evening and she requested a candle so she could blow it out again.

I was going to post a few videos, but I can’t seem to figure out how to do it without first uploading them to facebook. I don’t really want all of them on there, so hopefully I’ll figure it out and update this in the next few days.
