I’ve posted some photos on Spaces of Anna’s first Pascha (from after the Agape Vespers on Sunday). Passion Week was extremely long and exhausting for us, but she mostly did really well. The only service that was particularly bad was Holy Thursday evening. I think I heard maybe 3 or 4 out of the 12 Gospel readings because Miss FussyPants and I were out doing laps around the block, me chanting “Shhh Shhh Shhh” over and over. Good times.

She was great on Pascha itself. She conked out on the way to church around 10:30 and slept in the Baby Bjorn until 1:45 am – somewhere around the Nicene Creed. She ate and went right back to sleep until 3:30-ish and then was a bit fussy and I was exhausted so we hightailed it home. Luckily when we got home, she went back down to sleep at 5 am and slept until 9 am, so we ended up getting a good 4 hour chunk of sleep. Which is about as good as it gets for anyone – baby or not – on Pascha! Unfortunately Steve only got 2 hours, since he was up cooking his ham as usual.
